Showed up at the hospital like this......and 9 hours later we had this

The whole experience was so amazing. My nurses were so fantastic. The doctor was so great and I only had to push a few times and he was out. When they first pulled Cord out they said the cord was around his neck a little bit and then they put him on my chest for a second. He looked a little blue to me and he wasn't crying so it made me so nervous. They said he was just fine and everything was okay but I was still worried because he wasn't crying! He would let out a little squeak and be done. These pictures look like he is crying but I swear they are just little squeaks.
Once I knew he was okay I relaxed and enjoyed the moment. I just felt like he knew me when he looked up at me. He was so content and precious.
He held right on to my finger with his tiny little hand.
He looked like his own little self to me. You always wonder what they will look like. I see all of my other kids in him but he has his own look too!
When he was in the nursery getting cleaned up he didn't cry once. The nurses couldn't believe it!
Travis is the best daddy in the whole world. I have never changed any of my babied diapers in the hospital. He does it all! I always love being able to spend time alone with Travis at the hospital.
Cord did so good at nursing. Everything was so easy and natural. He knew just what to do and latched right on.

Cooper loved Cord right off the bat. He wouldn't stop kissing him and wanted to be right in his face.
Cord's big brother Easton was so gentle. He will always protect his little brothers.

Grandpa Lee even held him for a second even though he likes it when they get a bit bigger then he's not so nervous.
Cooper was obsessed. He couldn't get enough!

He looks so big and alert! He got his circumcision and didn't cry either. He was so great in the hospital and seriously didn't fuss once.

This was the sad part. Day two he started to get Jaundice. He would get sleepy and wouldn't stay awake enough to latch on. We didn't know how much he was getting and with Jaundice they need to eat as much as possible so we decieded to go ahead and supplement with formula. He did really good. I was sad because with him being my last child I didn't want to have to feel forced to give up nursing but it has been the best thing for Cord.
He had to go on the light all day long and then they would bring him to us to eat and go back to the lights. It was hard because we just wanted to hold our baby. I can't imagine what parents who have babies in the NICU go through.
He got right in his car seat without a peep. So I got him this cutest little baseball outfit to bring him home from the hospital and we washed it before we packed it and didn't even notice that the blue blead all over the white. So we didn't take a bunch of picture of Cord in his first outfit. I was sad, but oh well, what can you do?
Travis took the best videos. I love this one so much!
Well Cord, so far you are the best baby ever and we are so happy you are here with us now. We love you so much little guy!!!
